Magnuson Park - Seattle, WA

📍USGS Western Fisheries Research Center - Magnuson Park, Seattle, WA

I painted all four sides of the USGS Western Fisheries Research Center at Magnuson Park - hosting a Community Paint Day with 350+ volunteers in July 2023. This is my biggest mural yet - nearly 20 feet tall, and 1,800 square feet!

I designed & led this 112-foot “Save Our Salmon Mural” - partnering with the University of Washington’s North Lake Washington SalmonWatchers to incorporate Juanita Creek salmon education, and with Urban ArtWorks for a Community Paint Day with 160+ volunteers in April 2022. The mural features bright, vivid kokanee salmon native to Juanita Creek.

My second 188-foot “Save Our Salmon Mural” is painted at Animal Acres Park in Lake Forest Park, WA. It’s painted on the culvert barricades on both sides of 178th St. I partnered with Urban ArtWorks hosting a Community Paint Day with 200+ volunteers on September 10th, 2022. The mural design features bright, vivid kokanee salmon native to McAleer Creek.
